Healing Starts Here
Once you’ve decided to begin therapy, the next step is to connect with our office so we can guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. You’re welcome to call, email, or fill out our contact form — whatever feels easiest for you.
The referral process typically takes about 15 minutes. During this time, our office manager will gather some basic information, learn a bit about what’s bringing you in, walk through scheduling and availability, explain our telehealth platform, and help get your intake appointment set up.

How Is a Consultation Different From an Intake?
What Do We Need From You Before Your First Session?
A consultation is a brief, informal call where you can ask questions, get a sense of the clinician's style, and see if it feels like a good fit. There's no pressure—just a chance to connect.
An intake is your first full session. This is where we begin to gently explore what's bringing you in, your background, and what you're hoping to work on. It's a bit more structured, but still a supportive, conversational space.
Before your intake, we'll send you a few forms through our secure client portal. These typically include:
• Basic contact and demographic information
• Insurance details (if applicable)
• Consent forms and practice policies
• A brief overview of your history and what you're looking for support with
We ask that these are completed 48 hours before your session so your clinician can review them ahead of time and make the most of your time together.
